The theft of a black & white Volcom backpack and its contents, from an unattended bell cart took place at about 4:39pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at a South Maui Resort.

The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in the alleged theft and use of stolen credit cards.  Police say a male suspect unlawfully entered a Kihei home and stole items from within sometime between 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, and 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014. Among the items stolen were credit cards, which were utilized during a “shopping spree” in the Kihei area, according to police reports. The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the male suspect depicted surveillance footage released today.

This week the Maui Police Department and Maui Crime Stoppers asks for the public’s assistance in identifying person(s) responsible for a robbery that occurred 13 April 2014 at Kmart in Kahului.

 

At about 1639 hrs, 13 April 2014, a Caucasian female exited Kmart with stolen merchandise in her purse.  While the female offender was being detained and escorted by Kmart security officers, an unknown male physically wrested the officer’s grasp, freeing the female offender, and shoved a second officer in the chest causing the officer to stumble. Both offenders then fled the area in a red Jeep SUV.
